Open Horizons UK has been formed from 1st March 2009 from the UK Groupware User Group, the longest established GroupWise user group in Europe. The purpose of Open Horizons UK is to provide Novell partners and customers with a forum to discuss and try new technologies coming out of the Novell product portfolio, and also provide a place for IT professionals to network with peers in other industries.

The UK arm of Open Horizons is part of a pan-EMEA organisation that has been created by Erno de Korte and others to join together the user groups of Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and others to one large community to further the knowledge of Novell technologies.

Members of Open Horizons span many industries and sectors, including :-
