 The GroupWise User Group South Africa has been formally announced during the GroupWiseR 2007 event in Pretoria, South Africa. Over 80 people attended this year. With excellent presentations by speakers such as Bill Pray and Erno de Korte, the 2007 event was worth the while for every attendee. To ensure that the GroupWise Users of South Africa start to mobilise themselves to ensure that the right message gets to the right people within every organisation, the Users Group was founded. This website will contain information about the user group, its activities, upcoming events and contributions by members of the GroupWise Community in South Africa and the rest of the world.

 Open Horizons UK has been formed from 1st March 2009 from the UK Groupware User Group, the longest established GroupWise user group in Europe. The purpose of Open Horizons UK is to provide Novell partners and customers with a forum to discuss and try new technologies coming out of the Novell product portfolio, and also provide a place for IT professionals to network with peers in other industries.
The UK arm of Open Horizons is part of a pan-EMEA organisation that has been created by Erno de Korte and others to join together the user groups of Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and others to one large community to further the knowledge of Novell technologies.
