 Novell released the latest and final support pack today for Novell
GroupWise 7. It is Novell GroupWise 7.0.4 and it is available for
immediate download.
GroupWise 7.0.4 is a compilation of all Hot Patches and Field Test
Files since Novell released GroupWise 7.0.3. GroupWise 7.0.3 was
released in early 2008 and since then customers have been able to
download Hot Patches, updates and changes through regular support
channels and their Novell Technical Services representative.
Since the last Hot Patch, 7.0.3 HP5, there have been roughly 45
additional software changes. These code fixes were all driven by
customer reported issues and add to the overall stability of the
product. The majority of the changes were concentrated on the agent
components of the product. Many of these fixes have already been made
available to customers through field test files and have proven
trustworthy in production environments.
In coordination with releasing 7.0.4, Novell is also announcing the
transition of the GroupWise 7 product line from General Support to
Extended Support on April 2, 2010. This will be the last support pack
issued for GroupWise 7.
