Q: When you update the GWIA manual by updating the NLM's from the SDD to the server directory holding the GWIA files you might see the GWIA abend every time you start it.

 

A: This will not happen when you update the GWIA with the normal installation. The installation will automatically remove 2 files from the sys:system directory which stay there in case of a manual update, these files are causing the abend. The files are sccopt.bin and sccfilt.bin
